Sematophyllum caespitosum

Sematophyllum is a genus found in many parts of the world. It is characterized by its yellow "bubble cells" in the alar region of the leaf. In this respect it is closely related to our genus Brotherella. S. caespitosum is a native of Central America and this specimen was collected in Puerto Rico in 1985 by Ted Rosen.
