Tetraplodon angustatus
(Quartette Moss)

Tetraplodon angustatus is one of the colourful dung mosses. This species grows only on the droppings of carnivorous mammals such as bear, wolf, etc. This specimen was part of a dense turf collected by a friend from the edge of a bog near The Pas, Manitoba (Canada). It has been collected across Ontario (Canada) from Renfrew and Parry Sound north.
